Man Wah Holdings Co., Ltd.was established in 1992, mainly engaged in the design, production and sales of high and mid grade functional sofa. The Group's products are mainly sold through a wide range of sales channels in China and the world, and exported to customers in overseas markets such as the United States and Europe in the well-known brand name of “CHEERS”. According to data of Euromonitor International, on sales in 2019, the group once again hit the world's largest sales volume of functional sofa companies. What's more, according to the market share of the United States in 2018, Man Wah Holdings is the second largest manufacturer of functional sofa principle fields in the United States, and occupies over 50 % of the domestic market share. It is also the protagonist of Chinese leisure sofa production and retailers.

In September 2007, “CHEERS” brand was awarded the highest honour by China authoritative organization as the No.1 brand in China. The Group currently has five Leisure sofa production bases in China: Huizhou, Wujiang of Jiangsu province, Tianjin and Taizhou and one in Vietnam. With twelve production bases worldwide, the total production capacity now is approximately 2 million units per year. In 2011, the Group was selected by Forbes magazine as one of the 200 best small and medium-sized enterprises (with annual turnover of less than $1 billion) in Asia region. On 8 September 2014, Its daily stock Index gained a balance compared with the number of Hang Seng Index Co., Ltd. divided by Hang Seng Integrated Medium Stock Index and replaced as a constituent of the Hang Seng Corporate Sustainability Benchmark Index on 14 September 2015. What's more, it also was one of the first batch of investment targets under the Shanghai-Hong Kong Stock Connect.
